It’s going to look a little different around here. 2025 is about doing it my way.
I started my business with a hunger to turn my dream into success. Along the way, I’ve ridden the highs and lows, celebrated wins, and faced challenges head-on. As a single parent and business owner, this journey has been deeply personal, with every risk and decision carrying serious weight. Every day I have dug my heels in and given it everything I’ve got. I’ve embraced collaboration, mentored others, and rarely said “no” to new opportunities. I had a “I can do this, no matter what” mindset and true belief in my purpose.
I’ve had many beautiful people cross paths with my business - from clients and collaborators to suppliers and team members. With every handshake I’ve learned something new, and each has been a patch in my business “quilt”.
2024 tested me like no other. The changing business landscape forced me to pivot, hustle, and push through immense stress. It nearly took the gust out of my sails. When my accountant phoned to say I’d finished one of my best years yet, I literally wept. It was a moment of quiet pride that reaffirmed my belief in what I’ve built.
This year, I’m reshaping my business to re-align with my values and priorities. With the wind truly back in my sails, I’m returning to my business as a solo force in consultant mode. This structure will allow me to be present for the moments that matter most. My energy will go toward my core group of beautiful clients and meaningful short-term projects (let’s call them ‘love jobs’), including supporting smaller businesses and not-for-profits. 2025 is about giving back, in the way I truly want to. Embracing all the wins, being at every school assembly, working with great people doing wonderful things, serving others and finding time to be grateful whatever form that may take.
